With a background in graphic design, my work begins with composition and structure; but experimenting with shape, color, and rhythm is what really drives my creative process. I approach art-making as both a joyful act and a serious one. I want the work to feel good to look at and also to invite people into shared experience, curiosity, or conversation. To me, joy is not superficial – it’s radical. In a world that often feels heavy, creating joyful art is a form of resistance. Ultimately, I see art as a way to build connection, make meaning, and bring a little more color (literally and metaphorically) into the world.
