Artist Statement:

This colorful and texturized acrylic painting depicts joyful affection between two lesbian women as they celebrate Lesbian and LGBTQ pride. I seek to portray the emotional and spiritual content of the events, people and places and current events that I experience. My work is colorful and expressive while keeping representational elements. If I can make an emotional connection with you, the viewer, through my art, my work has achieved its purpose.

Artist Bio:

Angela currently lives in Columbus, Ohio. Angela primarily works with the media of painting, drawing, printmaking, fabric, and collage, alone or in combination. Her work has been shown in local, state, and national exhibitions.
