I am a mixed media artist with a passion for watercolors, botanicals and abstract art. I work primarily in watercolor because it allows for an interesting blend of spontaneity and control. I appreciate the transformation I see with this medium as I add layers, and see the paintings come to life. I also enjoy experimenting with additional mediums and combining them with watercolors. My paintings are a fusion of abstract and realistic elements. I am inspired by the beauty and delicate details of flowers, as well as by the organic nature of abstract art. As I work it is exciting to see which elements emerge as the focal point(s) and I find it rewarding to see the final result that’s taken on a life of its own on the paper.

Staci’s paintings blend abstraction and realism, often capturing the ephemeral nature of flowers and the moods they evoke.
