I make objects and paint purdy pictures. I’m a zen seeker and really just try to get off while making things. If I can achieve flow state I’m good. If not I’ll switch to guitar and watch tv. I don’t have representation and some collectors have shown interest but I’ve mired in mediocrity and I’m ok with that. Buy my work and you can join in the journey. I’m not a big fan of artists statements and usually give an eye roll when forced to read them. I hope the work stands on its own without explanation and too much discourse. Have a good day
Jeremy Wood is a graduate of CCAD.-(2006)born in Marion he moved to Columbus in 1989. He currently works doing maintenance /engineering at the Dept. of health. He used to own a painting company but gave up working for himself and is currently working for the man. It’s not a bad gig he has insurance healthcare and a 401k. Something he couldn’t enjoy being a full time beatnik. Sometimes giving up freedom gives you freedom. Oxymoron, I know? But that’s what’s required in this modern age. Father of two. One resides in Brooklyn New York the other is taking a gap year after high school. Married to Jennifer for 30 years.
