EQUITAS HEALTH is proud to announce that Art for Life, Ohio’s largest charity art auction, is back with a new look for 2025 – and we invite you to be part of the excitement!
Art for Life is a biennial art auction that raises awareness and critical funding for HIV/AIDS medical care, prevention, education, testing, and advocacy services. Since its inception in 1989, Art for Life has raised $8 million to meet the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS all across Ohio. At Art for Life, we not only celebrate this lifesaving work, but also celebrate life and the artists who enrich it.
We have some exciting changes coming to Art for Life 2025! For starters, the event will move to Columbus’ vibrant new Gay & High neighborhood. If you have yet to experience the buzz from Columbus’ new art epicenter, Art for Life is a great opportunity to be in the middle of it all.
The event takes place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11 AM – 4 PM. A silent auction will take place at six prominent downtown art galleries, all within half a block from the main event – the VIP Live Auction at The Citizen at 51 North High Street. Think of it as our very own Art for Life art hop!
Your participation in Art for Life 2025 carries on a tradition of resilience and determination in the face of HIV/AIDS. When Art for Life began in the 1980s, HIV was a death sentence. Thanks to medical advances made possible by the advocacy and fundraising support of our communities, people with HIV can now live long, healthy lives. People living with HIV who receive routine treatment can reduce their viral load to an undetectable level – that is, they cannot transmit the virus to sexual partners. In this sense, treatment is prevention, and we have a lot of work to do to make treatment accessible for everyone.
